Welcome! Holm Elementary School is located in southeast Denver, adjacent to Hamilton Middle School, at 3185 South Willow Street. We are a caring community where children are valued. Presently we serve 580 students from Early Childhood Education (4 years old) through fifth grade.
Our curriculum provides 3 hours of literacy instruction, which includes daily reading of high quality literature, small group and individual instruction and specific skills development. There is also a school-wide math instructional program with a curricular emphasis on concepts, rather than just computational strategies that is closely aligned to Colorado instructional standards and CSAP. We
support second language learners with ELA-S (Spanish Language) classes
in grades ECE- 5. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
classes are also available in all grades. Our diverse curriculum includes vocal music, visual arts, physical education, and a Resource Teacher to support gifted and talented education.
We hope every parent will be an active participant in your child's education--read with them at home, check their daily planners, ask to see their homework, and volunteer your time and talents! By working together, we plan to have a successful school year.
