It was a bright shiny day on my family vacation. We were at the beach. It was a perfect day. The sun was warm and the water was warm too. I never thought I would see a shark, but I did. Here’s what happened…
A shark almost ate me because my dad was holding me over the gate at the beach. The shark was right under me! The shark looked about 4 feet long. The shark jumped up and sniffed me, so I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes, the shark was gone. He must have gone home in the ocean. I was scared, but I started laughing. My dad started laughing too.
I was so scared after the shark incident, we decided to back to the hotel. Once we got back to the hotel, I went straight to bed. While I was sleeping I heard a sound. I went down to the lobby and I saw monkeys everywhere.
They were tearing up the place. They were throwing pans and food at each other. I slowly backed up to the door. They all looked at me, so I closed the door and ran back upstairs to my room. Luckily they didn’t follow me, I went back to bed. In the morning, they were gone.
The next morning, we packed our bags and got in the car. We got on the highway, but I-25 was closed because of construction.
So we got a new place to stay for three days. We played games to pass the time. Luckily we didn’t see any monkeys at the new hotel. After three days the highway was finished, so we got on the highway and got home. When we got home we all went to bed. What a vacation!
