Good Days and Bad Days
by Ja'Quey
My grandma woke me up for school in the morning. My sister and I walked to school, and I was just in time for school. I remembered my homework, I was not in detention, and no one laughed at me. I knew I was not in detention because I did my homework. “Oh, I’m glad I went to school,” I said to myself.
My grandma forgot to wake me up in the morning, I was late for my fishing practice, and I forgot my fishing pole. My dad was mad at me and upset with me. My whole family laughed. My best friend laughed at me and my aunt embarrassed me. “Oh, I should have stayed in bed,” I said to myself.
