My Trip to Bosnia
by Kenan, 1st grade
When I was five years old, I went to Bosnia to visit my cousins and my great-grandma because it was too boring here. She is my mom’s grandma. The word for “Mom” in Bosnian is “Emira.” We went on a plane. I was there the next day. I was happy that I liked it. One morning we woke up and went to a store in Bosnia. There was a candy gum ball machine. I never saw one in America. I loved it in Bosnia.
