University of Michigan School of Information runs a site called the Internet Public Library (IPL). One part of IPL is called "Kidspace."
I especially like the lessons on learning to use html, the scripting language used to create web pages. I have also had good feedback from students on their explorations at W3Schools.com

I really like this math site for its simple explanations, opportunities to practice skills and test your own understanding of concepts. This part of the aaamath.com site has some excellent lessons on factors and divisibility rules.
