Mr. Metcalfe
Principal
Mr. Metcalfe taught for fifteen years and has been a principal for eleven years. His highest degree is MA in School Administration and an MA Reading. He has been in Denver Public Schools for sixteen years. What makes him a good principal? He tries to always keep the best interests of his students, their families and his teachers as the first priority with every decision he makes. He says that the best thing is that he gets to know hundreds of students and their families and he gets to spend time talking and being with them throughout the day. He says the worst part of his job is that it can be frustrating to get things done in a large school that is part of a large school district.
