When Thomas was 12 he sold newspaper and candybars on trains.
He invented the lightbulb, phonograph, and kinetoscope.
In 1877 Thomas invented a new telephone transmitter. He worked 18 hours a day for most of his life.
He is famous because he invented lots of things.
He died on October 18, 1931
I chose to research and write about this famous American because I only knew that he invented the light bulb. I wanted to know more about him.
