The Children's Literature Web Guide is presented by the University of Calgary (Alberta, Canada). Its creator,David K. Brown, on the faculty of the College of Education, freely admits his "subversive purpose" to presenting all these web resources about children's literature: to tempt readers "away from the Internet, and back to the books themselves!"
