Baby Doe Tabor was a very snobby person! She was born on October 7, 1854 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She died on March 7, 1935. She was 80 years old when she died.
Baby Doe Tabor became famous when she married Horace Tabor, "The Silver King", and so she became "The Silver Queen" when she married him. Baby Doe sold her jewelry so Horace could use the proceeds to help build Denver. When Baby was a kid she was not rich she was so poor and didn't have no money.
Baby Doe had two children, they were both girls. The girls names were Elisabeth and Rosemary. Baby Doe and Horace Tabor married secretly. People thought Horace Tabor was still married to Augustus, but that was not true.
Horace and Baby Doe Tabor discovered the matchless mine together. Horace Tabor died of illness and didn’t leave any money for Baby Doe. Horace asked Baby Doe to take care of the mine after he died. Baby Doe was found in her cabin frozen to death next to the mine, keeping her word to Horace.
I think her life was a little boring because she really didn't do anything interesting at all, but I enjoyed doing a biography on her. I think I learned a lot about her, I mean I learned how she got famous and I still can't believe that she was so poor first and then she was the wealthiest and very rich woman .
