As you know, Denver Public Schools Climate and Safety Department requires schools to have two (2) lockdown drills per year. This letter is to let you know that we had a lockdown drill at our school this morning at about 8:50 AM for approximately 15 minutes.

Spirit Week!
We’re excited to celebrate the end of the calendar year with a fun Holiday Spirit Week! ⛄️ Each day has an easy, low-stress theme designed so students can join in without families feeling the need to purchase anything new.
Participation is completely optional. This is just a joyful way to bring our community together and add a little ✨sparkle✨ to the week before break. We can’t wait to see our 'Lil Huskies show their spirit and end 2025 in style!

The Monaco South Optimist Club hosts the 49th annual Christmas Tree Sale
The Monaco South Optimist Club hosts the 49th annual Christmas Tree sales event at 2285 South Monaco Parkway. Trees from tabletop to vaulted ceiling size are for sale. The proceeds fund projects that serve the needs of metro youth, such as the Super Citizen Program ... and more!
The club sells six varieties of trees, along with tree stands, wreaths, and garland. Delivery is available, and business buyers are encouraged. Additionally, Santa Haus, featuring Santa Claus, delights the kids every weekend.

The holiday store will be open for former Lil' Huskies and their families to do a little holiday shopping.

Now, it's time to collect those pledges! Your child will be bringing home their lap record sheet which will show how many laps they ran. You can use this to 1) brag to your friends and family about what an awesome kid you have and 2) collect pledges and donations. These donations allow Holm Helpers to support all of the students and staff at Holm.

Bringing safety to all aspects of the student experience is priority. Because transportation understands safety, in partnership with the district we are making the scanning on and off the bus required. Transportation is excited to bring a new and innovative technology to out parents and community this year. An app is available that will make some key safety and informational features available right on our parent's cell phone. This app is called My Ride and is part of a larger part of the wheels of safety. Parents will now have access to route information, late bus notifications, and scan on/scan off student information.

If you are having trouble, office staff is here at Holm to support you between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Please note that if you have multiple students from ECE- 12th grade, you can complete registration at the same time online without having to go to each school separately.
